The latest Google Maps update now allows you to input multi-stops on a trip – making the user experience travelling in a whole new way.
The announcement was made by Google Maps’ Communications Manager, Liz Davidoff in a blog post.
The days of selecting point A to point B navigation – and then selecting a point B to point C are over. Google Maps now allows you to enter a destination and then add intermediate stops. Clicking on the corner menu – you can now “Add a stop”.
Tapping and holding on the three dot menu on the left, you can also create your own waypoint on the route. After you have input all your waypoints, just tap ‘Done’ and your multi-stop route is set.
Entering the navigation mode, you witness the same user experience as you are used to when using Google navigation; albeit a little better.
